Sanyo DVD Recorders

SANYO Electric Group offers excellent products and is a corporation that has gained global trust and following round the world. The Group has become a market leader in popular consumer electronics products all over.

The Sanyo DRW500 Slim DVD Recorder/Player measures a mere 2 inches high. This slim, sleek, and convenient entertainer works with the DVD+R/RW format for recording and has playback compatibility with DVD-R/RW formats. Sanyo’s DVR-H200 offers all of the mid-market DVD essentials like the link terminal for dubbing from digital camcorders, RGB Scart input, component video output and various dubbing options.

Sanyo DVD recorders are single-format (DVD+RW/+R, in this case) with 160GB of hard-drive capacity on board. You can dub photos, audio CDs and tracks from MP3 music CD-ROMs to the HDD. However there is no support for MPEG-4 formats like DivX but these recorders do allow both audio and video to be burnt onto CD-R media.

Content can be dubbed, in part or in full, to a CD-R or CD-RW. Audio CD recording from a line input source is also allowed, although you can’t make audio CDs from MP3 tracks stored on the HDD. You can also record video to CD media, courtesy of the MPEG-1 VCD and better-quality MPEG-2 SVCD formats.

These recorders are simple to use as they lack some of the competition's more advanced features. You can't play a DVD while recording to the HDD. Nor can you watch a previously-recorded programme while a new one is being captured, although you can start watching the current recording from the beginning.
