The Sony VRD-VC10 offers a very sensitive nine button interface with a much useful built-in LCD display. This device is the easiest way to turn your home movies into DVD. The Sony DVDirect VRD-VC10 is capable of recording video direct-to-disc without a PC. It has an outstanding Nero 6.6 software bundle, with a fast CD-R performance. The DVDirect is a ruggedly built device that can be used as either a USB-attached 16X dual-layer DVD±R/RW rewriter or as a standalone direct-to-disc video recorder, but can't do both at the same time. A DVD that can be played on most consumer set-top box, DVD players or your computers and any DVD-ROM drive. It has up to 6 hours of home video which fits on standard DVD recordable or rewritable discs, and with new Double Layer DVD discs, up to 12 hours can be recorded on a single disc. DVDirect can even be connected to a computer via Hi-Speed USB for high speed DVD burning and other cool things.
